At short notice (7 days), The Photo Team supported Stulz, a global leader in precision cooling and climate control for data centres, at their stand at ExCeL London. Over a compact four-hour span, we documented stand setup, networking, product showcases, and interviews — delivering a polished highlight showreel and images that reinforced their premium brand identity and technical leadership.
About Stulz
Stulz is a globally recognized brand in the field of thermal management, especially for data centres, telecom facilities, and mission-critical operations. Their portfolio includes precision air conditioning, chilled water systems, humidity control, modular data centre solutions, and advanced climate control technologies. They operate in more than 140 countries with multiple production and sales facilities worldwide.
Because of their global reach and highly technical offering, imagery and video must align with their brand identity—clean, precise, technical, and authoritative.
The Challenge
We were engaged with just seven days’ notice to cover Stulz’s stand at a major industry exhibition. The scope was ambitious: in a brief four-hour window, we needed to document:
- Stand setup before the floor opened, capturing branding, product display, and signage
- Networking and interactions between Stulz staff and visitors
- Product demonstrations and equipment displays
- Brief interviews (sound bites) with key team members, integrated into the highlight reel
Given the time constraints and minimal briefing, the risk was missing essential moments, or producing visuals that didn’t reflect Stulz’s technical and premium positioning.
Our Approach
- Sent a lean, experienced dual team (one photographer, one videographer) to operate efficiently and with minimal disruption.
- Conducted a rapid pre-event alignment with the Stulz marketing team to confirm key products, spokespersons, messaging priorities, and visual style.
- Arrived early to capture the stand before crowd density—branding shots, staff setup, product arrangement.
- Moved through phases quickly: pre-opening detail shots → live operation → interviews → close / wrap-up images.
- Integrated short interviews with selected team members to add narrative context into the video.
- Maintained creative flexibility and technical discipline: controlling exposure, managing lighting constraints, and capturing natural interactions.
- Managed a tight post-production workflow to deliver final assets on schedule without sacrificing quality.
